What is "Fixed Frequency" and what are the frequencies I can use?

By default, CONNEX uses Automatic Frequency Selection (AFS), which fully complies with regulations and automatically selects the best free frequency available. The Fixed Frequency option allows the operator to manually select a specific fixed frequency to work on.

The Fixed Frequency feature is available in CONNEX devices using firmware version 3.0 and above. The feature is not supported in CONNEX Mini devices.

In addition, the availability of the Fixed Frequency option varies according to the regional settings selected. Fixed Frequency is not available when CONNEX is set to Indoor settings in the EU region or to Outdoor settings in the Japan region.

Note: While working in Fixed Frequency mode, the system will NOT automatically switch to an alternative available channel in the event of interference.
