What do the LEDs indicate?

The Air unit has three LEDs:

  • Power On/Off (white),

  • Network status (white) and

  • Video status (white).

The Ground unit has three LEDs:

  • Power On/Off (white),

  • Video status (white) and

  • Network link quality (Blue-Greed-Red).

Air Unit LEDs

The Air unit LEDs are explained below.

Air unit Power LED:

  • Off = No power

  • Solid (white) = Power up

  • Fast blinking = System error (may require firmware upgrade)

Air unit Network LED:

  • Off = Not broadcasting (if there are no registered Ground units)

  • Very slow blinking = Searching for vacant frequency

  • Slow blinking = Establishing link (between 15 to 75 seconds, depending on region)

  • Solid (white) = Link is up

  • Fast blinking = During registration or if the Air Unit is going out of range

Air unit Video LED:

  • Off = Powered down, or, Video not locked

  • Blinking = Unsupported video resolution

  • Solid (white) = Air unit locked on video input

Ground Unit LEDs

The Ground unit LEDs are explained below.

Ground unit Power LED:

  • Off = No power

  • Solid (white) = The Ground unit is powered on and the unit’s ON/OFF switch is on

  • Fast blinking = System error (may require firmware upgrade)

Ground unit Network LED:

  • Off = The Ground unit has no Air unit registered with it

  • Slow blinking (blue) = The Ground unit is searching for an Air unit to establish a link (Expect to establish link within 15 to 75 seconds, depending on region)

  • Solid (blue) = Good link quality

  • Solid (green) = Moderate link quality

  • Solid (red) = Poor link quality

  • Fast blinking =

Option #1: Registration in process. The Ground unit is registering with an Air unit.

Option #2: The Air unit has gone out of range.

Ground unit Video LED:

  • Off = No video output

    Option #1: The Ground unit is off

    Option #2: The Air unit it is out of range

  • Solid (white) = Video output is valid
