CONNEX supports up to a 1000 meters (0.6 mile) link between the Air and Ground Units, in clear Line Of Sight (LOS) conditions.

Depending on environmental obstructions or RF signal interferences, the effective distance may be shorter.

When the distance between the Air and Ground Units becomes greater than 1000 meters, the user will be notified by the On Screen Display (OSD) message indicating "Reaching out of range".

At 1,100 meters the Ground unit presents a black screen with the notification "out of range", until the distance between the Air and Ground Units is less than 1,100 meters.

See information on reaching the out-of-range state, see: CONNEX Approaching Range Limit Behavior.
