High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of digital copy protection developed by Intel for preventing the copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections.

CONNEX does not support transmission of HDCP content - meaning that if your source outputs HDCP content (e.g., Blu ray), you cannot use CONNEX to transmit this content wirelessly to your monitor - even if your monitor does support HDCP.

CONNEX wireless video link IS encrypted (using AES-128), meaning your content is safe and cannot be received by other users.

However, as CONNEX was developed for the UAV market, where HDCP is usually not relevant, only non-HDCP sources can be used with the CONNEX Air Unit.
