Falcore Internal Electronics Assembly Guide

This article describes the assembly of electronic components on the Falcore main board.

The Falcore main board is supplied as a replacement (spare) part with the following parts pre-installed in factory:

  • Sensor balcony
  • Sensor balcony shield/ RC receiver mount
  • 4x ESC

If you are replacing the main board, you will need to transfer the following components from your original board to the replacement board:

  • XT60 top and bottom plastic covers
  • Prosight Tx, including cables and antenna
  • Sonar and camera assembly (complete)
  • Rear LED light guides
  • RC receiver

 

Main Board Assembly

The following steps illustrate the required assembly phases for full assembly of the main Falcore board. 

1. XT60 top and bottom plastic covers installation:

2. Rear ESC installation:

Note cable ties orientation and excess tip, as it may interfere with the sliding of the main board back into the carbon chassis

5. Prosight Tx placement:

Note:

When connecting or disconnecting Prosight Tx to Camera cable, make sure connector is inserted or extracted straight and not in an angle. Visually inspect that all pins inside the connectors are straight before connecting.

Sonar and Camera Assembly

Use instructions below if Camera or Sonar replacement is required:

Note:

Video Antenna Assembly

Use instructions below if Video Antenna mount replacement is required:

*     "Long Antenna" = Long antenna wire cable

**   "Short Antenna" = Short antenna wire cable

*** "Heat Shrink" = Can be replaced with a duct tape
